I've been visiting the Lord since the 90's! The food is always excellent and the owner always friendly and accommodating! Absolute recommendation!

meddl loide, Absolutely the best address for vegan or vegetarian dishes. The dishes range from open potatoes with a side dish to falafel to soy burgers. The salad is very seasoned and personally I always come to the lord for the falafel. The store itself has been based in Dortmund for ages and has always improved and grown over the last 15 years. The quality is consistently very good. The staff is friendly and the decor of the shop is attractive and you like to eat there. unironically, I can recommend the shop completely for meat-free consumption. Even during corona times. personally, I've been going to eat here every now and then for 15 years. The lord belongs to Brueckstrasse. meddl on.

Best vegetarian and vegan food I have tasted in Dortmund.

I usually eat at the potato lord at least twice a month because it's so delicious and central. The leading family and the staff are super friendly. Top.

Staff very unfriendly and not communicative, which could be due to the lack of German. Waited more than 45 minutes for the food and when asked, the only thing they said was that they "had a lot to do", although we asked about the waiting times beforehand and the restaurant wasn't even half full. Prices were an absolute joke for the crowd Usury. We were very much looking forward to the meal, but were bitterly disappointed. That was the last time.

I found the offer extremely pleasant, and something that I can really support is the desserts. My husband and I have now been there for the third time and have tried a dash of something new each time we visit. Certainly I come here with my relatives for my part and can rely on being served brilliantly. I find the inn to be insignificant for all events, whether with a partner, acquaintances or relatives.

Food was recycled, chips so salted, desserts dry and hard, in the event of complaints you could not understand me, had hardly spoken German, all in all not recommended, terrible and the tables were not clean, they were sticky, the employees also have no masks worn behind the counter

The waiters are always very nice and extremely accommodating. This makes us really happy every time we visit, the chairs are extremely pleasant and the distance between the tables is very reasonable. There you don't get the feeling of eating cucumbers in a can. We didn't have to wait long for the dish and our drinks. That was great, since we had a huge craving that evening, I can only recommend this place!

The staff is super friendly and very authentic! The Arabic has become really tasty but unfortunately expensive .. with a tip of around 6 €. Still nice to have a purely vegetarian restaurant in Dortmund!

Very delicious vegan and vegetarian meals.. very friendly staff. Arabik is my favorite dish since over 20 years, since I was a student. And I'm still a big fan of this little (now big) cute restaurant .. thank you to the Kartoffel Lord staff for all the delicious food that gets prepared with lots of love ?

More than 20 years in business and still awesome.

Wanted to check this place out after its being on my 'want to go' list because it's mentioned in the culture trip and Google recommended it for vegetarian food. But the cashier made me think as if I'm the guy from one of those films where the protagonist dies and tries to interact with the physical world but no one sees him. I stood there literally 2ft from him and he ignored me and took orders from people back in line. I waited to see if it happens more than once, it did unfortunately and then I left.

Delicious food. Relatively cheap for the quality. Recommended.

This is a great place for vegetarian food. Skip the falaffel and go right for the "Arabic" wrap, really amazing. I only wish a few more options were vegan.

Nice food but raw sometimes

Good food for a fair price. Many vegetarian and vegan options (i.e. replacement butter for vegans; the staff knows what they're doing). The place is a little cramped, but clean and inviting. If you like wraps, potatoes and middle-Eastern foods and are looking for veggie/vegan options - look no further! Recommended!

Wrap was falling part and very loosely rolled. I generally visit this place when I am in Dortmund, Germany. I like the all the vegetarian wraps served here. But today was terrible. I ordered Mahali - their signature wrap with homemade sauce. First thing - it was not tightly rolled at all - it was absolutely loose. So it was difficult to eat. And second thing was not sure whether wrap/bread was not so fresh, it was falling apart. It was actually breaking while eating. So literally I had to open it up and had it like a rice meal. And surprisingly owner/chefs had problem with my eating style too. :( It was a very awkward experience altogether. Will never visit this place again!!

Best place in Dortmund for vegan and vegetarian food. You will find a range of wraps, baked potato, Persian dishes, and desserts. One of my favourite places to meet with friends for lunch.

Good tasty food with vegan options

Fantastic food, had the eggplant baguette one night and the Lord another, have to say the Lord was the better of the two. My friend had the hallumi wrap both times and said it was also good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The food was very tasty and this is coming from a non-vegetarian. The staff could've been a bit more friendly as they seemed to be annoyed that we didn't know the menu by heart.
